Gurman iPhone 14 to feature a total redesign

Mark Gurman is back with another Info and its Power On newsletter. In this edition, Gurman doubles down rumors about iPhone 14.

Gurman says that users can anticipate an upgrade to entry-level and Pro models, as well as a complete overhaul to this year's iPhone 14 as the minor changes this year suggest Apple's engineers were working on more significant changes which will take longer.

Regarding the lineup, Apple is believed to be removing the iPhone mini and concentrate on the new iPhone 14 Max and, therefore, the lineup could include the standard iPhone as well as a Max model and two Pro models.

For the under-display Touch ID, Ming-Chi Kuo said in the report that Apple continues to work on the technology, however, it's not certain if it will be available in time to be included in the 2022 iPhone lineup.
