In an email that was sent an email to PS5 players on the Friday of last week, the PS5 platform owner declared that death Stranding: Directors Cut and Sackboy The Big Adventure can now be downloaded at no cost and played for many hours.

The trial games are available on the PlayStation Store until October 28 and the time limit starts at the time that players begin downloading which means those with better connections will have more playtime more than other players.

Dead Stranding Directors Cut can be played for up to six hours, while Sackboy Big Adventure can be played for five hours, as per Sony's marketing.

The trial is only available to PS5 versions of the game and any DLC purchased during the trial period can only be used following expiration, if the user purchases the complete game.

Recent patents suggest that Sony could be planning to include PlayStation 5 games to its streaming service PlayStation Now, which could possibly provide a more seamless way for gamers to test games in the near future.

The patent describes the method by which Sony intends to group multiple extremely fast NVMe SSDs to save the same data on them for the purpose of providing data at high speed to devices that are client-side.

The article specifically mentions gaming as an instance. It provides a description of how information is transmitted to the user using various SSDs to ensure stability when an SSD gets overloaded or dies.

PlayStation Now's library of software includes more than 700 PS2, PS3 and PS4 games that can be streamed via PS5, PS4, or PC and more than 300 PS4 titles that may be played and downloaded to consoles.
